Open Source Technologies: 'Siren Call' or 'Silver Bullet'?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Open source technologies can be a “siren call” for many who are mindful of budgetary concerns leading many down a path heretofore unknown in their context. It could be a “silver bullet” to conquer that troublesome issue, or a “siren call” to ruin on the rocky shores of programming and development. The purpose of this conversation group is to share our knowledge and experiences with open source technologies with each other and build on our shared knowledge in this regard. From integrated library systems, content management systems, to operating systems bring your experience, tips, and questions to share.
